A Brief History
Italy’s incredible pasta culture has made it the undisputed champion in dry pasta exports worldwide, but Italy's fresh pasta - a delicious higher quality product, is almost never seen outside of the country. Fresh pasta is always made locally or at home and is seldom exported due to its much shorter shelf-life, especially egg pasta.
This is where REGAL’s journey started; in 1986 a decision was made to focus on manufacturing fresh pasta as an exportable product. With authenticity at heart, as little processing as possible, and only the best quality for ingredients. It was the beginning of a journey spanning almost three decades that took a small but ambitious pasta factory in Abruzzo on a quest to create a new standard for fresh pasta.
